Pro Karate Center's Training Programs
Students and enthusiasts of Karate have many reasons for their interest in this and other martial art styles. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and self-defense.

Tigers (ages 3-6)
At Pro Karate Center we understand the problems unique to youngsters, and the concerns parents naturally have. The well organized, professionally planned children's Isshinryu program is designed to help parents in the task of building a child's confidence, positive outlook, and self-esteem. They learn to take pride in themselves and their accomplishments. Soon they come out of their shells, begin to participate, and learn to make friends easier. Attention spans increase as do motor skills and performance in other sports and activities.
Children(ages 7-12)
Pro Karate Center is proud to say that we offer much more than just training in the martial arts. We strive to instill excellence in all of our students and hope that it reaches far beyond our dojo walls. Through our activities such as the S.T.A.R. program(students thinking and acting responsibly), job lists, parent's night out, and board breaking classes we help students and parents evaluate all aspects of a student's life including schooling and morals. We are leaders in character development.
Teens and Adults (ages 13 & up)
Your Isshinryu training will include the most up to date methods known for achieving total fitness and
self-defense capabilities within a well organized, progressive, non-c
ompetitive format. You don't need to
be "in shape" or know anything about the martial arts to get started. The best time is now to begin making
confidence, fitness, and self-defense part of your life. Karate provides a healthy break from routines of
home, school, or the office.
Adults
Your Isshinryu training will include the most up to date methods known for achieving total fitness and self-defense capabilities within a well organized, progressive, non-competitive format. You don't need to be "in shape" or know anything about the martial arts to get started. The best time is now to begin making confidence, fitness, and self-defense part of your life. Karate provides a healthy break from routines of home, school, or the office.
Family Class - All Ranks All Ages
This class is designed to have families train together. All ages and ranks are welcome to attend this class.
Pro Karate Center has made remarkable progress with children who are mentally and physically challenged.
Pro Karate Center is prepared to teach children with special needs including ADHD, ADD, AUTISM, Cerebral Palsy and those who just need extra encouragement to help them get back on the right track.
We have a class specifically designed to teach special needs children on Friday's at 3:30pm.
Satellite Programs
Pro Karate Center is please to announce our partnership with the YMCA. Pro Karate Center has been selected by the YMCA to be their Martial Arts vendor for "Ykids Club" enrichment program. These programs will be held at local pinellas county schools.
